Puddywood

Time for our annual camping trip at Christy and Larry's, a.k.a. Puddywood. Of course we had a great time. Taylor and Zoe couldn't get enough of the 4 wheelers. Taylor actually drove it by herself (thanks tyler!) My cousin Scott will be contributing to the Burger Clan in july with a new baby girl so we had a shower for him. We were hoping for a surprise but it is hard to keep it quiet and he found out. But, let me say it is so funny giving a guy a baby shower. They are so different than girls. He was a trooper though and got lots of good stuff to help out in his adventure of fatherhood. The top pic is all the younger cousins.

Kacey and Andy

My cousin Kacey got married in Nags Head. What a beautiful week. The wedding day was wonderful. Thanks for a great time!!

Snapping Turtles

Last year we saw a large snapping turtle in our front yard flower bed laying eggs.
Today Zoe and Jason saw a hole and something moving in it. These turtles came out.
This Zoe holding one of the baby turtles. She was so excited.
We kept watching the hole and eventually all the turtles came out. The finally count was 12. Who knew that many could fit in such a small hole.
This is Jason and Zoe taking the turtles down to the lake and setting them free.

Easter Day

Getting ready to leave for church.

Taylor looking for eggs at there Grandma's annual easter egg hunt. About 2 hours after this she said her head and throat hurt and had a fever. Jason took her to the doc in the box and guess what.... Strep throat. Man, this girl has had it all this last month. Poor thing.
Zoe checking out what she got at her nanny and gookies. Mariposa! She was so excited.

Egg Dyeing

Thursday we decorated eggs at mom's. I had to work this weekend so this night worked best. The girls had a good time and the eggs were pretty.

Rileigh slept during most of the dying time but she came in at the end for a picture with her egg.
Dustin got a little thirsty so he had to drink the dye. YUMMO

Happy Birthday Danielle

We had a surprise party for Danielle's 30th bday last friday. I think it turned out nice. She had no idea. But considering it was a month late how could she have known. hehe

Snowman

This is Zoe's first snow ever and she is 4yrs old. Isn't that sad? Luckily we got enough snow to make a snowman. Isn't he terrific ;) Thanks to Nanny for the snowman decorating kit. It was fabulous.

First Snow

Taylor and Zoe woke up this morning at 640 to go and play in the snow.... Taylor said the first thing she wanted to do was make a snow angel. This is her doing it. What is Zoe doing in the background...... EATING!! They had a great time and were done by 1000am. Oh, the snow was already almost gone.
